Association copy, from the personal library of Madeleine L'Engle, and bearing her married ownership signature (Hugh and Madeleine Franklin) on the front pastedown. L'engle was a stage actress for a time before her writing career, and her husband Hugh was a television actor famous for his role in All My Children. Near fine copy in very good, price-clipped jacket with some chipping at head and heel, wear at corners, and toning to spine.
