Berlin: Ernst Rowohlt Verlag, 1925. Hardcover. Very Good. "51.-63. Tausend." [6], 346, [2] p., frontispiece and 9 leaves of plates (including portraits); 23 cm. Light brown cloth with dark brown spine and cover titles and decoration. Top page edges dark brown. Small bookseller's label on front fixed endpaper: Wohlthat'sche Buchhandlung K.u.H. Schild, Berlin. Former owner's name on reverse of frontispiece. Carl Ludwig Schleich (1859-1922) was a German surgeon, author, and painter. In Very Good Condition: tail of spine frayed; lacking front free endpaper; a few pages opened carelessly; clean and tight.
