Dearborn, Michigan: Ford Motor Company, 1977. BZ1 - DJ is mylar protected. A hard cover first edition book in very good condition. An unread, tight, clean, sound copy in red paper covered boards with white lettering on the spine & white grapics on the front with minor overall shelf wear. The dust jacket is in very good- condition with light soiling overall plus some light chipping at the corners & the spine top & bottom edges plus 2 small (less than 0.25" & about 0.5") closed tears on the back on the top edge plus some yellowing of the inside surface. A collection of short stories reprinted from the 'Ford Times' magazine between 1948 & 1975. This magazine began publication in 1908 & though a commercial venture is noted for its short fiction. These stories are united by an effort to explain America to itself. Authors include Ogden Nash, J. Frank Dobie, John Updike, John Steinbeck, E. B. White & William Faulkner. 186p.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 5.25"x7.25".
