Foreword by Eric Sloane. A comprehensive retrospective on the life and artistry of Bettina Steinke, who first entered into prominence as a portrait artist of such figues as FDR, Eisenhower, Toscanini, MacArthur, and Katherine Hepburn. In late life she abandoned her commercial career and moved West and transitioned into western realism.
