Signed by John Mulholland, warmly inscribed to Horace Mann school acquaintance Wilfred Rothschild (likely the Hollywood writer who was a distant relative of the moneyed family) on half-title in ink. x, 342 pp. Original black cloth with white lettering. Near Fine with a little rubbing to lettering, wear at head, in bright unclipped dust jacket, Very Good with edge-wear and a few tiny chips, vertical crease on back panel. A skeptical book on ghosts and the paranormal by the famous American magician who schooled the Central Intelligence Agency on sleight-of-hand and duplicity in the secret The Official CIA Manual of Trickery and Deception.
