Champaign, Illinois, USA: University of Illinois Press, 1987. BZ1 - A hard cover first edition withdrawn ex-library book in very good- condition with a dust jacket in good+ condition. No additional printings are indicated on the back of the title page plus there is a sequence of numbers appearing on back of the title page iwth the "1" present. A tight, clean, sound copy in textured black paper covered boards with silver lettering on the spine with very minor overall shelf wear plus the dust jacket endflaps are glued to the inside surfaces of the boards plus there are the usual library stamps and labels on the top outside paper edges, inside surface of the front board, front endpaper, and dedication page. The dust jacket shows minor overall shelf wear mainly in the form of some fading on the spine plus the library has underlined the author's last name on the spine in black marker plus the endflaps are glued to the inside surfaces of the boards plus it is still in the original library mylar sleeve. This is a title in the publisher's Illinois Short Fiction series. A collection of short stories by a noted writer of the form. 132p.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 5.75"x8.5". Ex-Library.
