Four obscure19th century Unitarian works published by Rowland Hunter in London bound together as one."Bible Controversy in Ireland: Infallibility not possible; error not Culpable", 1828, viii, erratum slip, 212pp. Attributed "by the author of 'A Letter on the Immateriality of the Human Soul' in answer to 'Remarks on Scepticism' by the Late Rev. T. Rennell". The remaining three titles are attributed to William Hamilton Drummond. Second title is "Unitarianism no Feeble and Conceited Heresy; Demonstrated in Two Letters to His Grace the Archbishop of Dublin", 1829, 48pp. "Unitarian Christianity the Religion of the Gospel; and the New Reformation A Chimera; in Five Letters to the Earl of Mountcashell, 1829, 58pp. "The Doctrine of the Trinity Founded Neither on Scripture, nor on Reason and Common Sense, but on Tradition and the Infallible Church: An Essay occasioned by a late controversy between the Rev. Richard T. P. Pope, and the Rev. Thomas Maguire". 1827, second edition, printed by W. Shaw in Dublin. xiv 100. Bound in 3/4 brown leather and teal marble boards. Scuffed leather spine label reads "Bible Controversy in Ireland". Spine is worn. Previous owner's name on title pages. Few copies of these in OCLC. Controveries between Protestants and Roman Catholics. Drummond was known as a poet and as an early animal rights activist.
