Lacks the metal clasps, occasional foxing and insignificant stains, tear in register last leaf has been professionally mended. Very minor dampstaining throughout. Front free endpaper has some holes along the gutter. An exceptionally fine copy that includes the Apocrypha.
With entries of Jacob Good Family 1822, 1845, written on the blank that precedes the New Testament. Illustrated with a frontispiece of Moses and the Ten Commandments, also one in the New Testament of the Nativity, both engraved by Jas. Henry.
Of considerable interest is the lengthy 5-page list of subscribers, including many from Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, and 2 from North Carolina. Not in D & M.
