Large slender octavo, 30 pages (paginated 91 - 119), a little used, age-toned and creased throughout, corners turned, green paper covers rather worn, an unknown contemporary name on the upper cover. RARE. Originally published in Bulletin de la Société Ornithologique Suisse (ii. pp. 90-119). [The Oates/Selborne copy with labels inside the front cover, and the discrete circular Oates stamp on the first and last page. The library was formed by Robert Washington Oates. This book was originally presented to the Newton Library in the Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge. It was later transferred in 1955 to the Gilbert White Museum at Selborne, from which it was sold in the early 1990's.]. First Edition thus. Paperback. Fair.
