From the blurb: "This records and describes all the books and fugitive pieces printed at Walpole's Press, and identifies numerous variants. An integral part of the bibliography is the record of many acknowledged reprints by Walpole's printer, Thomas Kirkgate, ranging from Gray's Odes to forgotten fugitive pieces. Ten forgeries prepared in the nineteenth century are also described. In addition, a few of the more interesting copies of each book have been listed and their provenance traced, and a complete census of the known copies of the rare fugitive pieces has been included.This new edition has, to accompany the original Bibliography, 1942, a Supplement, being a record of the significant corrections and additions that have been identified or acquired during thirty years.
