About This Item

Gloucester: Printed for the editor, 1825 Book. Fair. Disbound. Part 1 - [ii], viii, [vi], 152 pages + 2 plates. Part 2 - [ii], [153]-324 pages + 1 plate. Part 3 - ccv, [i], 325-456 pages + 1 plate. Parts 1 and 2 have their own title pages, Part 3 just has the general title page. The plates are browned and heavily spotted and this has affected the adjoining pages. Spotting to pages throughout. Part 3 completely disbound with pages loose, no spine. Parts 1 and 2 have been respined in the past and the inner hinges tape reinforced but some pages are now loose. Some pages have wear and tears to the edges where they have been rubbed. Ex library with Stroud Institution ink stamps to the title pages and a couple of other pages in each volume. There are modern pencil notes to many of the margins. Part 2 has a printed notice from the Editor to the Subscribers and part 1 has a 4 page advert for the Retrospective Review tipped in at the rear. Large paper edition with pages measuring approximately 30 x 23.5cm. A heavy set - extra postage will be required to send it outside the UK..
