London: Perpetua Limited, 1958. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Ronald Searle. Very attractive illustrated dust-jacket by Ronald Searl, some light wear at spine ends and closed tears at corners, not price clipped. Book bound in black cloth with gilt decorations along the spine edge and gilt title on the spine, minor rubbing, clean bright and square. Hinge and text block firm, neat inked inscription to the front end paper dated 1960. Pages smooth clean and bright, no spotting, a really good copy.
