Possible ex-library edition. Danny is only a trapper's son; as much as he wants the beautiful Irish Setter Big Red, the dog is a champion and out of his reach. Then Danny is given the job of showing the show dog the way of the woods, and the two develop a wonderful relationship. Made into a Walt Disney movie.
