Burroughs began the journey of Tarzan by writing stories featuring his famous character, then he added full-length novels which were made into popular movies and a very successful comic strip. With several black & white photos, often showing the various men who played Tarzan in the several movies made from the books of Mr. Burroughs. --- In full tobacco brown cloth-covered boards with spine titling in green; green topstain. Volume in jacket with photographic portraits of Burroughs and Tarzan (as portrayed by Elmo Lincoln) to cover. --- A tightly-bound, sound copy lacking damages worthy of mention. Price-clipped jacket with chafing, minor sunning to spine and a few small tears, else bright and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; xvi, 258 pages .
