Small piece missing/hole on the side edge of the DJ. Has been price clipped. Soiling/foxing on back of DJ and DJ flaps Red boards which are slightly marked. Endpapers are foxed/soiled. Soiling on page edges. Otherwise clean, tight pages. Strong binding. No inscriptions. Large corner fold on pages 81-82. Loose advertising insert in book in the form of a letter(credited to Johns) advertising the adventures of Captain Lorrington King, D.S.O.(nicknamed Gimlet). Location: WREN1 . Very Good. Hardcover. Second Printing. 1950.
