Walter Scott. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. Undated edition in decorative binding circa 1890's. Attractively bound in decorated buckram in half green and gilt with floral boards. In very good condition with minimal shelf wear. Floral patterned end papers and gilt to all edges of text block, very clean throughout other than one or two spots to prelims and title page and a small amount of foxing to rear blank end paper and to rear publishers advertisements. A very good copy of Lowell's The Biglow Papers which uses the original text edited and with notes, glossary and copious index provided by Homer Wilbur.
