London: Hutchinson, 1897. Stylised lady in dark green with gilt lettering title to front, dark green motif and gilt title to spine on light green cloth boards which show just slight wear. Internally there is age darkening to end papers, a contemporary name to front endpaper, a crease to lower corner of one page else a clean, tight copy. Translated by Alys Hallard. 332 pages. No author stated but is in fact Sibylle Aimée Marie-Antoinette Gabrielle de Riquetti de Mirabeau, Comtesse de Martel de Janville (1849-1932). C3B. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
