About This Item
Bill Clements started as an oil rig contractor, then became Deputy Secretary of Defense in the 1970's, then was elected Governor of Texas in 1978. He was the first Republican Governor of Texas since Reconstruction. There is a little wrinkle at the top of the spine, but I have listed it as fine since it appears to have been unread. Both the author and Bill Clements have signed on the title page (no inscriptions).

About mark mcdonald
Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
