Macmillan, Melbourne, 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. XII, 132 pp., acknowledgements, an introductory note. Brown coloured endpapers. Within the text there are numerous black and white illustrations, cartoons and advertisements. Brown coloured boards with white beer advertisements on front cover, and white writing on spine. Illustrated dustwrapper, being a reproduction of Sam Griffin poster "I Allus Has Wan at Eleven", with yellow background and red and white coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the backstrip. The lore, legends, songs and anecdotes of the Aussie pub. Rubbing to the lower book edges, book corners and to the head and to the heel of the backstrip. softening to the heel of the backstrip and there is aged toning of the textblock edges and of the internal pages. Previous owners name to the top edge of the free front endpaper. A little creasing to the dustwrapper edges and rubbing to the dustwrapper panels. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
