Boston: Western islands, 1973. Hardcover. Four very good hardcover volumes in dust jacket. Vol I: vii, 615 p.; Vol II: xi, 615p.; Vol. III: xiii, 639 p.; Vol. IV: xi, 667 p. Each volume contains biographies of individuals and organizations on the "radical left," as determined by the right-wing author's perspective. Period covered extends from the 19th century to the anti-Vietnam War movement. Although the original intention was to publish eight volumes, only four appeared. Gannon was in the John Birch Society's "research department.
