Over 10'' tall, original green cloth with gilt titles on spine & Glasgow's crest on front cover, top edge gilt. Some shelf wear, particularly to top of spine (see pictures). Spine cracked inside at front board. V + 381 + 52pp appendix & index. Frontispiece engraving with a few other illustrations throughout text. Ex reference library with bookplate & number on front pastedown, pictorial bookplate on rear pastedown, handwritten number on reverse of title page, occasional blind stamp within. No other obvious library markings. Inner book is generally clean & in very good condition. ***Over 1kg & may require extra overseas postage***
