Two first books in oblong folio format, comprising Vols. I & II, III & IV: Plates and photos in b/w. Vols V & VI: Text. Full blue cloth bindings with gilt titles on front and spines. Books lightly rubbed, page edges very mildly toned with just a bit of spotting. Interiors clean and unmarked throughout. The Foundation Work for Mayan Studies, Alfred Maudslay's photographs and drawings of a number of the major Mayan sites, such as Quirigua, Copan, Chichen Itza, Palenque and Yaxchilan, executed during his explorations in Central America between 1881 and 1900. Large and very heavy set: NO international or priority orders.. Hardccover. Very Good/Very Good.
