Published by Country Life, London, 1936, limited edition of 550 signed copies. This no 109. Dark green cloth spine, lighter green cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine under a plain dustwrapper with caligraphic lettering in black to spine and front board. TEG. 10.25ins x 8ins, [viii], 147pp plus colour frontis and two other colour plates. Also 20 black and white illustrations within the text.The limitation page is signed by Kennett and Peter Scott (E. Hilton Young was Lord Kennet of the Dene). The tissue guards of the colour plates are very browned but they have preserved the plates. Previous owners signature and date to top of front free endpaper. Endpapers foxed. Dw has loss to base of spine and approx one inch square loss to bottom front corner. It is generally a bit nicked and tatty but it has now been paced in a removeable sleeve to preserve it.
