Some spotting to covers with mild rubbing at extremities; some edge creasing to proofs (not affecting images) with a few hints of foxing. Near Fine. Blair Hughes-Stanton. Publisher's pigskin by Wood (8-1/2" x 13-1/2") gilt lettered on the spine, top edge gilt. Illustrated with 10 striking full-page wood engravings and two text engravings by Blair Hughes-Stanton. First published in 1923, this edition differs because of the addition of 10 wood engravings by Hughes-Stanton as well as new prose paragraphs by Lawrence at the head of each section. Copy XV of 30 copies with extra suite of 10 proofs from a total edition of 530. Lawrence's reflections on the world beyond humanity
