Undated (1940s). 48pp, 12 colour plates, 26 illustrations in black and white. Blue paper-covered boards with white illustration and lettering to front and spine. 8vo. Spine ends rubbed with minor paper wear, corners rubbed and rounded, minor paper wear along bottom board edge. Slight foxing to text block edges. Very light foxing to endpapers, gift inscription on front free endpaper. Internally neat clean bright and tight barring the occasional spotting. Dust jacket illustrated same as hard cover, sun-faded, minor closed tears, chipping along top edges, shelf wear. A beautifully illustrated book with 26 black and white illustrations and 12 coloured plates of the Birds of Britain.
