Recent crimson half morocco, spine gilt in 6 compartments, titled in 2, 4 with gilt ornithological emblems, raised bands, top edges gilt; pp. 141, with a sepia photographic frontispiece of the terrain in Cuba, and 3 more sepia plates on a single leaf; handsome binding, very good. First and only edition. Scarce. A fascinating book on a neglected area of ornithology, which also contains some interesting observations of human life in Cuba. Zimmer p. 39; not in Wood.
