Full green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine, signed/inscribed on the title page: "For Herman Kitchen, with my best wishes. Paul A Johnsgard." Herman "Kitch" Kitchen was an photographer for TIME/life books and a friend of Roger Tory Peterson. The jacket is not price-clipped but there mild wear at the coners with one small closed tear at the top of the spine. Overall a EXCELLENT book in a VERY GOOD PLUS brodart protected dust jacket. A good gift.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Full Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
