London: H. F. & G. Witherby, 1932. First Edition. Wrappers. Very Good. 8vo. 2 volumes in 4 parts. Original wrappers, title-pages bound at the end. With illustrations in black and white, and in colour. Complete with all illustrations and maps. Light staining to the spines, and very light staining to the lower fore-edge of the text block in volume first. The wrappers with edge-wear and short rips, as they are much longer than the text block, with a short rip at the head of part 2. From the library of Harry G. Lumsfeld, biologist and research scientist with Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources. In 2004 Harry Lumsfeld became a Member of the Order of Canada for his outstanding contribution to wildlife management and conservation.
