Hardcover, 1973, first edition thus (first published 1936), Methuen Reprints published by Methuen & Co Ltd, London, 272 pages + xvi.
Octavo/8vo. Measures 8 3/4" by 6" by 1". Ex-library book with typical stamps, numbering, markings, etc. Dust jacket has some scuffing and a little marking, with the odd little tear and some fading to spine. Royal blue cloth binding with gilt lettering and red label to spine. Book has forward tilt and some slackness to binding, front inner hinge cracked, but otherwise contents reasonably firm. Page edges a little browned, tanned, scuffed and marked. Map endpapers. Aside from library markings, page surfaces generally clean, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for more information.
