About This Item
New York: A.L. Burt Co. Reddish ochre boards with laid in picture on front show wear at head and heel of spine and at corners. Gilt titles on spine worn but readable. Library (Calgary Public) markings include stamps and pocket. Hinges reinforced by cloth tape. Several leaves have tears and chips, including at least three leaves in which small portions of text are removed. A greater number of pages have stains of various kinds. Must have been a popular hit at the library because the date due sheet is almost fully stamped. Seller suspects that the boards are a library rebind with the front picture being part of the original dust jacket. Reason for this is that the picture seems to have been trimmed to fit (the "l" on Farnol has been lost in the trimming.) 368 pp plus endmatter.. Unknown. Cloth. Fair/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Ex-Library.
