About This Item

London: Grub Street Books, 2009. Small quarto, hardcover, 192 pp., plates. A near-fine copy in dust jacket. Degelow had a unique approach to aerial combat which motivated the author, Peter Kilduff, to write his classic biography titled 'Last Knight of the Air' and published in 1979. During the intervening thirty years Kilduff has obtained new information and original images, and has accessed German archival sources.
