Boards have some very faint rubbing An autobiography of J. E. Hewitt, whose father steeped him in classical stories of the heroes of the ages which directed his course in life, joining the RAN as a cadet midshipman, then naval aviator and subsequent service and training in RN, RAF., and RAN. This book covers the years 1901-39, with appendix 1, an authenticated account in facsimile of the sinking and salving of the German Fleet at Scapa Flow. Includes Supplement B & W photos
