The townsfolk are terrified of him, but they don't know what to do about it. The Black Watcher is a shadowy figure, shrouded in darkness, who never speaks. He only leaves his mark--dead animals, burned buildings, and terrified people.One day, the townsfolk stumble upon a manuscript that seems to shed light on the Black Watcher's motives. The manuscript reveals that the Black Watcher is a reincarnated spirit of a vengeful Indian warrior. The townspeople are finally able to put a stop to the Black Watcher, but not before he has inflicted untold misery on Covington.; 18mo; 260 pages .
