Publisher's advertisement on back cover. The author examines the impact of and reaction to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the federal fair-employment practices statute. He concludes that, although there had been some gains, unions and employers were fighting the reforms intended by the law. Book is in Near Fine Condition: top page edges slightly soiled; otherwise, clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Very Good Condition: spine is slightly faded; closed 2-cm. tear from lower edge of back section; corners rubbed; clean and bright.
