London: Blackie & Son Limited. Fair. Hardcover. 256 p. 22 cm. No publication or copyright date, but gift inscription is dated Christmas 1922. Sound and square binding in illustrated, paper-covered boards with blue cloth spine. Pull mark from label removal on upper board. Moisture staining both sides. Heavy wear to edges and corners. Gift inscription on endpaper. Lacks frontispiece illustration. Inside pages generally clean and unmarked, but paper is lightly toned. Includes thirty fiction stories and informational articles for boys. First story is "The Mystery of the S.S. Aracluta" by Percy Westerman. Illustrated with black and white plates by various artists. .
