Edinburgh. A.& C.Black 1847. Folio. Hf black calf gt; In generally good condition. Some rubbing on edges, corners bumped. Small crack top and bottom of front hinge, board still well attached. Inner front hinge cracked. Front endpaper & next blank page have crease down centre, foxed and a little nicked on edges. Crease still down centre of title page. Inside some light tanning & some foxing spots, MAP VIII England & Wales is split down centre fold about 2/3 of the way. Else generally clean & tight. Size 17.5 x 13 inches 61 maps (many double-pg.), Col.in outline. Index 40pp.
