About This Item
Leipsic/London: C.W.B. Naumburg/William Tegg & Co. Hardcover. Poor. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Extremely rare, only a passing reference in Google. Undated, mid-nineteenth cent., presumably first edn. 14 vividly hand coloured engravings. Some pages loose, spine cover starting to split. A cautionary tale in verse, much enjoyed by Victorian children, and therefore not spotless! Card covers age-darkened, well rubbed with general soiling. Some foxing to eps, bookseller's sticker to pastedown.
