Forest History Society, 1980-01-01. Hardbound. Good/Good. Signed by .Other. Hardbound book in good condition. Signed and dated by previous owner W. D. Hagenstein, co-founder of Portland's World Forestry Center, recognized as the father of native tree reforestation in the Pacific Northwest. RFEP bears impressed seal of Hagenstein's library and a penciled note: "gratis-B.D. Hostetter, BLM-1980" There are extensive pencil notes and underlining, thought to be Hagenstein's and often providing comments and information. There has been water damage to the back of the dust jacket, with some light water damage to the bottom of the last 40 pages. There is also a closed tear (approx. 1") at the head of the DJ's spine. Dust jacket is in mylar.
