When Alexandra Clarkson starts having terrifying visions filled with blood and ceremonial images, she tries to find a rational explanation – maybe her mind is playing tricks on her, resurrecting creepy tableaux from her research on religious ceremonies and sects. This is a great book for anyone who loves an on the edge of your seat fast paced read. I like my books to be able to capture my attention in the first paragraph or two. Erica Spindler has been able to do this for me from the very first book I held in my hands by her (Cause For Alarm). That was the first book I was so emotionally involved in I couldn't believe it. I cried, was scared, and even tried to pretend I was a detective who was going to predict the ending. For both Cause for Alarm or Blood Vines or any other book in between I have never been able to guess the ending. This is why I love Erica Spindler's books so much. I love the emotional roller coaster she takes me on and I love the fact she knows how to keep me wanting more right to the very last sentence in the book! I highly recommend this or any other book by Erica Spindler!!!
