London Society Promoting Christian Knowledge. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1889. First Edition. Hardcover. Rebound in maroon boards with misspelled gilt spinal titles (Sea instead of Lea). Hinge tape front/rear - binding solid nevertheless. Light edge wear to boards. Pages 1-4 (ffep, copyright, half and full title pages) missing when rebound. No card covers underlying boards in this rebound copy. Several 1/2 inch chips to page tops not affecting plates. All poems intact as are all 84 color plates (& comparable number of three tones) make up this 172 page volume of 19th century children's verse. .
