The binding is sound, the page edges darkened with age, the most negative point about the book is that the last six leaves of the book have been attacked by silverfish at the top external corner. No loss of text. Illustrated with over 200 black-and-white photographic plates, and with a supplementary chapter describing the celebrated collection of presidential China in the White House at Washington DC and a complete checking list of examples of Anglo-American pottery.
