About This Item

Edinburgh: Adam and Charles Black, 1887. Hardcover. Good. Fetching thick, denim like cloth binding of Abbot's nicely produced history. With b/w illustrations by W. E. Jackson and decorated initial and engravings by various other artists. 8vo. Boards slightly bowed as is common. Spine sunned. Occasional spotting within and very faint foxing to page edge. Otherwise clean. Binding sound. Good.
