Taken between 1962 and 1968, this photograph shows two of Bob Mizer's models posing on the infamous AMG compound in Los Angeles.
Condition: Very good. Some residues from former mounting on the verso. Front flawlessly preserved without any scratches, kinks or wrinkles. Always stored away from light.
Gay photography icon Bob Mizer was founder of Athletic Model Guild (AMG) and Physique Pictorial. His work influenced David Hockney, Gore Vidal, and Robert Mapplethorpe. His photos are in the collections of New York's MoMa and L.A.'s Museum of Contemporary Art. Recently, his work was revived and popularized by TASCHEN's "Bob's World" and the definitive "1,000 Model Directory".
