The Book shows mild shelving wear to the lower extremities; very slight spine lean; a small splotch to the tinted top edge; else flawless; the binding is secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome, lightly used copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing the mildest wear and a couple of cosmetic flaws. Bright and Clean. Close to 'As New'. The DJ shows only a touch of wear to the extremities; tiny chips at the heel of the backstrip; a couple of tiny, closed tears along the top edge; mild overall rubbing; unclipped; mylar-protected. "Laura Lee Hope" is a pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate for the Bobbsey Twins and several other series of children's novels. Actual writers taking up the pen of 'Laura Lee Hope' include Edward Stratemeyer, Howard and Lilian Garis, Elizabeth Ward, Harriet (Stratemeyer) Adams, Andrew E. Svenson, June M. Dunn, Grace Grote and Nancy Axelrad. "Laura Lee Hope" was first used as a pseudonym in 1904 for the debut of the Bobbsey Twins.
