This is an exquisite hardback book in generally good++ condition, dated 1893; Bishop Pearson's original book was printed in 1659. This particular volume contains An Analysis by Edward Walford, Late Scholar of Balliol College, Oxford. An Exposition of the Creed is written by the Right Rev. John Pearson D.D. late Lord Bishop of Chester. The words "Bohn's Libraries" are beautifully embossed on front cover and on the spine. This black textured clothbound book has visible wear to cover corners, spine and edges; the hinges show minor wear but there are no loose pages. Page 441 has some ruler underlined lines in pencil & page 120 has 4 lines ruler underlined in pen. Former owner's name is stamped inside front cover & there is a bookplate; "Gulden & Curry, Royal Library, Tunbridge, Wells." This is a 1st edition published by George Bell & Sons, printed in 1893. The Indices in the back include: An Index of Texts, An Index of Authors, & a General Index. The pictures depict the actual book you will receive. Generally, ships the same business day!
