About This Item

NY: Viking, 1942. Bound in blue cloth, stamped in black and white in matching dust jacket. This is the first edition/first state (ref.: G&P A-18a) in the dust jacket that does not have a later printing listed. The book shows a private library stamp to ffep. and two lines of writing and an envelope on the front pastedown. Otherwise, the book and the textblock is bright, tight and clean. The dust jacket shows chipping and a tape repair to top of spine and top of rear panel. Despite these flaws -- the book is still collectible (hard to find this dust jacket in fine condition). 185 pp. Photo Ilustrated. . First Ediiton. Hard Cover. Very Good +/Very Good -.
