Oxford, printed at the University Press; London, Henry Frowde, (1900).. Edition unknown circa 1900, miniature book, 55 x 45 mm (cover size), 2¼ x 1¾ inches, FRONTISPIECE portrait of Christ with crown of thorns, 688 pages, bound in dark brown full calf with rounded corners, "Common Prayer" gilt on upper cover and spine, all edges red and gilded, dark brown endpapers. A few minute marks and scrapes to covers, one damaging 2 letters of the title on the upper cover (see image), endpapers show slight marks due to the removal of sticky tape (see image), contents otherwise clean and tight, no inscriptions. A very good plus copy in its own decorative sterling silver carrying case complete with chain. Case in excellent condition. Bondy, Miniature Books, page 131; Welsh, Bibliography of Miniature Books, No.1856 and 1857; Griffiths, Bibliography of Common Prayer, page 421, No.4 (no mention of a frontispiece or Henry Frowde).
