Printed by the assigns of John Bill, and Christopher Barker, printers to the Kings most excellent Majesty, the Savoy, [London], 1671 Hardback. , front cover detached, corners rubbed, cover edges and spine darkened, few cracks on spine leather, odd spots here and there but pages and plates quite clean, plate 3 of [shepheards] a little cropped at fore-edge with a little loss of text below plate [a few letters], slight loss to lower corner of q15 with a little loss of text, the word Psalm and the accompanying number is a little cropped at head of Book of Psalms here and there, in good condition. 12mo, 15 x 8 cm. , unpaginated, [534] in total, with 44 leaves of engraved plates including frontispiece of Charles the second, plates 1-40 are numbered. Dedicatory page preceeding psalms engraved with lion rampant and unicorn, separate title page for book of psalms, psalms in doulble columns, [printed by J.M. for the company of stationers]. Walter Bracebridge bookplate to rear blank and his neat signature [W H Bracebridge] to front pastedown , early or original full calf with floral-decorated Cambridge panels to front and rear, 5 raised bands, marbled endpapers, ribbon marker (loose)
