New York: Stanford and Swords, 1855. 298 numbered pages + 3 rfeps. Black pastedowns and first feps. Two title pages in red and black. All page edges gilt. Bound in full black morocco with gilt border to boards. Edges lightly worn and corners rounded. Spine with five false raised bands and gilt banding, decoration and "Common Prayer." Griffiths 1855/38. An unusually finely bound and well preserved early American BCP.
