Wonderful B&W woodcuts as chapter decorations. CONTENT: At one time, I would have called this book a "themed gift book," but I don't know exactly how to call it now. A great sample of the medieval love literature in its most eloquent lyric and narrative expression: from love poetry to satire, slurs and much more. Both poetry and prose have been included for the readers pleasure. 150 pages.
